Giant Trance 2017 components

I've started another bike build. Yet again, I've gone for a Giant Trance frame but a newer generation. This one is a 2017 frame which has the latest geometry. I've just got to the stage of taking the frame apart and have created a document to record all the parts.

Giant Trance X 29er 2013 components

Whilst helping my brother replace the pivot bearings in his two mountain bikes, I made a note of the components and produced these diagrams.

Giant Trance 2014 to 2016 components

While I have a couple of days waiting for the paint to dry on my bike build, I typed up the notes I took about the sizes of all the bearings, the headset and a few other notes about the Giant Trance frame.

Merida One-Twenty 7.800 suspension bearings

I hunted all over the internet to find out the sizes of the pivot bearings in the frame on Shelley's bike. I did not have any luck finding any details for the 2015 model year.

The only solution was to take the bike apart and measure them.

Although I double checked and took measurements, if you look very closely at the seals, they include a part number.
