A proxy painted

The first alien finished.

Airbrushed beige underlayer and hand painted the armour. I used a black wash for the shadows then dry brushed the highlights. With hindsight, I think a brown wash for the shadows may have been more appropriate.

For the claws, I used a watered down brown over the beige under layer, leaving the upper edge and the end the lighter colour. Where the claw joins the body, I used a darker brown, also watered down.
