Nothing new in the nest

I could post more picture of the nests with birds on and off but that would not be very interesting. The birds sleep in the nests at night and visit one or other of them during the day but there are no obvious changes.

When something happens I'll post it.

Cosy

They've been repairing the nest all day and now they are both in it together.

In the nest

She's been in the nest most of the morning chirping. We are not sure if this means anything.

Building, I think

It's difficult to tell from the cameras but I think they are repairing this nest.

At the weekend I'll try to take a closer look when they pop out.

Neighbours

This is the outside of the stables where the swallows nest.
The horses names are Tom and Henry.

We have not named the swallows. It's hard enough trying to identify male from female let alone one from another.

Males have longer tail feathers (sails) but unless they are stationary or next to each other it is not always obvious which is which.

Separate beds

One swallow in each nest last night.

In and out all day

Looks like this is the nest they have chosen.
